Sankari School of Arts at SMA Dance School Policies

A. Fees Policy

  1. Enrolment & Advance Fee
    • One month’s fee is payable in advance at the time of enrolment to secure a place.
    • Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
    • Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. Monthly Fees & Payment Method
    • Fees are payable monthly in advance, within the first week of each month.
    • Payment must be made via standing order.
    • Fees are charged on a monthly basis, not per class.
    • Fees may be reviewed and revised annually.
  3. Attendance, Absence & Missed Classes
    • Full monthly fees are payable regardless of attendance.
    • Absences due to illness, exams, school activities, travel, or personal reasons do not qualify for fee reductions or refunds.
    • Missing one or more classes in a month does not affect the monthly fee.
  4. Pauses, Holidays & Travel
    • Any pause, holiday, or travel must be informed at least one month in advance in writing.
    • Without the required notice, one additional month’s fee will be charged.
    • To retain a student’s place during an approved pause, one month’s fee is required.
    • Short holidays or occasional absences are non-deductible.
  5. Discontinuation of Classes
    • A minimum of one month’s written notice is required to stop classes.
    • Failure to provide notice will result in one additional month’s fee being charged.
  6. School Holidays
    • The school observes a one-week holiday during the last week of December.
    • Monthly fees remain unchanged during this period.

B. School Rules & Guidelines

  1. Uniform
    • Students must attend classes in the prescribed Sankari School of Arts uniform.
  2. Conduct & Discipline
    • Students are expected to behave respectfully towards the teacher and fellow students at all times.
  3. Communication
    • Each batch will have a dedicated WhatsApp group for official communication.
    • Homework, ISTD file guidance, exam materials, and videos will be shared via WhatsApp.
    • Parents/students are responsible for checking messages regularly, informing absences in advance, and completing assigned work on time.
  4. Missed Classes by the School
    • If a class is cancelled by the school, a make-up or online class will be provided where possible.

C. Acceptance of Policy

  • Enrolment at Sankari School of Arts confirms full acceptance of all fees, rules, and policies stated above.
